The ENFL VIII regular season has come to an end in week 5, and we are now ready for the Egyptian Bowl as the Tigers and Hounds face off for the first time competing for the championship title.

The last games of the season didn’t disappoint in providing great competition. For the first game of the week, The Eagles Athletic Club and the MSA Tigers faced off in the most anticipated game this season which was the ultimate deciding factor on who gets the second spot in the Bowl.

The game was tough and intense, both teams struggled to score touchdowns throughout the game, leaving the audience at the edge of their seats waiting for what could’ve been a game winning score.

The Tigers took the lead with 5 points in the first half, with a safety followed by Amr Hanafy’s 44 yards field goal which then earned him the MVP title of the game.

While the Eagles’ defense managed to earn 2 points for a safety in the second half, they came out short of reaching the Egyptian Bowl.

Both teams have shown great performance throughout the season, and we can’t wait to see the Eagles’ comeback next season.

The Zed Jaguars and the Cairo Bears then faced off in the second game of the week, where the Bears managed to earn their only win of the season.

The Jaguars showed progress and thrived for a win throughout the game scoring a 49 yards field goal by Mazen Wael.

However, the Bears managed to score two touchdowns for the win to come out with 14 points to 3.

The Bears’ receiver Omar Mandour earned himself the MVP of the game, as he helped his team advance throughout the game.

The competition has been tight in many games this season with exceptional performances, and while the Bears are taking their time to regroup, the Eagles are currently recovering from last season’s losses and the Jaguars are paving their way to a solid team.

We are beyond excited to witness the last game of this season and to crown the new ENFL champion in the Egyptian Bowl scheduled on Friday, the 24th of June.

The Hounds, two times champions, who earned their bowl spot early on with an undefeated streak, will be facing the challenging Tigers who are going to the Bowl for the third time and who have been leading the stats in every position all season on both offense and defense.

Who are you rooting for?
